Paul Joseph Legendre

Paul Joseph Legendre, 59, of Glendale Arizona, passed away May 2, 2024 after a brave battle with advanced liver disease.
Paul was born 11/14/1964 to Carmela and Roger Legendre in Brentwood, NY. In 1975, the Legendre's moved to Rio Rancho, NM. At Taylor middle school Paul met lifelong friends. He graduated from Cibola High School in 1982. Paul loved learning and pursued advanced education throughout his life. In 1986, he graduated from Phoenix Institute of Technology, certificate in Computer Aided Design & Drafting. In 1996, he earned a BA in Communication from UNM. In 2019, he and his daughters graduated together. Paul with a BS from Grand Canyon University, Chrycia with a BA from Grand Canyon University and Amanda with a High School Diploma from Bourgade Catholic High School.
Married to Barbara for 30 years, they were inseparable. Barbara often started household projects, but Paul actually finished them, correctly and safely. As the father of little girls, Paul learned how to French-braid hair and paint nails. He often saved the day bringing forgotten lunches or back -packs to school. Paul built sets for Chrycia's school plays and cheered for Amanda when she competed on the swim and cheerleading teams.
Paul was preceded in death by his father Roger and older brother Ralph. Paul is survived by his wife Barbara, daughters Chrycia and Amanda, his mother Carmela, brother Roger (Roddy) and many nieces, nephews and their children.
