Mr. Linebarrier was born in Rowan Co., NC, on December 16, 1935, the son of the late Rev. Wade Linebarrier and Lillie Furr Linebarrier. He co-owned a typewriter repair shop and later owned chicken houses as a egg farmer. He was of the Wesleyan faith and loved to watch Jimmy Swaggart. Paul loved growing vegetables and enjoyed giving them to family, neighbors and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Linebarrier was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Jean Linebarrier, and sisters, Rebecca Farlow, Gail Kawahara, and Audrey Vanderburg, and brothers, Bill Linebarrier and George Linebarrier.
Mr. Linebarrier is survived by his sons, Lewis Ray Linebarrier of Hickory, Mark Linebarrier of the home, who was also his caretaker, Doug Linebarrier of Winston Salem; sister-in-law Loretta Linebarrier of Asheboro; and several nieces and nephews.
