Paul "Timmy" Timothy Lofton, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, left this world on October 6, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on January 12, 1949, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Paul embodied a spirit of love and warmth that touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

Graduating from high school in Mississippi, Paul embarked on a dedicated career spanning over 30 years working on the railroad. His commitment to his work was matched only by his devotion to his family, which he considered his greatest achievement. Paul married the love of his life, Barbara "Potts" Lofton, in 1974, a union that marked the beginning of a beautiful journey filled with laughter and shared dreams.

Paul's personality was as vibrant as the outdoors he cherished. He loved fishing, football, and karaoke, and he could often be found enjoying a good time, dancing, and sharing stories over a glass of Crown Royal. He had an unquenchable thirst for life and was happiest when surrounded by friends and family.

As a proud father, Paul leaves behind three sons: Paul (Eugenia) Timothy Lofton 2nd, Kevin (Christie) Brent Lofton, and Wesley (Tiffany) Lofton, along with his cherished daughter, Angela Mae Lofton. His love extended beyond his children to his grandchildren: Heather Ann Lofton, Paul Timothy Lofton 3rd, Anthony Wayne Lofton, Kevin Brian Lofton, Brandon Keith Lofton, and Laquita Lofton, whom he adored wholeheartedly. His legacy continues through his 10 great-grandchildren, each a testament to the love he spread throughout his life.

Paul is also survived by his brother, Tony (Angela) Lofton, and his sister, Myra Ellen Alunius, who will carry forward the memories of their beloved sibling.

He rejoins his parents, James and Doris Lofton, and five siblings in eternal rest. Paul Timothy Lofton's life was a shining example of love, kindness, and joy; he will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those fortunate enough to call him family or friend.
