Paul Richard Martin

 

            Paul Richard Martin, 81, of Hinton entered into eternal rest Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston, WV following a short illness.

            Born August 23, 1941 at Hinton he was the son of the late Jessie James and Elsie Mae Martin.  Paul worked as a logger, a bulldozer operator and was the owner and operator of Paul Martin Logging.  He enjoyed four wheeler riding, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family and friends.

            Preceded in death by his brother, Jessie James Martin Jr. and his sister, Eleanor Gean Martin.

            Those left to cherish his memory include, his sister-in-law Rosie Lee Martin, his niece, Marilyn S. Langley, his nephew, David W. Martin and wife Shelli and two great nephews, Alex and Kyle, and numerous cousins and friends whom he loved dearly.

            At Paul’s request Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors and Cremation Care has been entrusted with cremation and there will be no services at this time.  A celebration of life will be held at a future date to be announced. His remains will be laid to rest in the family cemetery at a later date.
