Mr. Paul Christopher McCormack, age 69 of Advance, NC passed away Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home after a long illness. He was born March 14, 1956 in New York City, NY to the late John William McCormack and Helen Agnes McKee McCormack. He is survived by his wife, Fiona and son, Owen and his beloved dog Cooper as well as his siblings, Anne, John, Mark, Ellen, Mary, Clare, Luke, Joan and Matt, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
The McCormack Family moved to Northern Virginia in the sixties. Mr. McCormack graduated from Fauquier High School in Warrenton VA and went on to enjoy a long career in kitchen design. He loved watching all sports in particular English Premier League Football, college and professional basketball and especially his part-time position of “coach” to his son Owen who now plays basketball professionally with the Bristol Flyers in England – one of his proudest accomplishments. Paul will be remembered for his sharp mind, kind heart and unwavering sense of humor.
The family would like to thank Dr Andrew Namen for his never-ending support as Paul battled his disease. Per Mr. McCormack’s wishes there will be no funeral memorial service. A celebration of life reception will be held on Sunday November 9 from 2-5 pm at The Granary, WinMock at Kinderton, Bermuda Run, NC. At a later date there will be a family celebration in Warrenton, VA.
