Paul Ralph Miccolupi, aged 79, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, in Thomasville, Pennsylvania. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Paul was the beloved son of Paul Anthony and Josephine Nancy Miccolupi.
He spent nearly half of his life in New York before eventually relocating to York, Pennsylvania. In 1980, through a mutual friend, Paul met the love of his life. Throughout his career, Paul wore many hats-working as a dedicated NYC Catholic grade school teacher, a factory administrator for Mack Trucks, and an insurance adjuster for several companies.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Anthony and Josephine Nancy Miccolupi. He is lovingly survived by his wife, Barbara Miccolupi; his children, David, Melissa, Christopher, and Daniel; his daughter-in-law, Lydia; and his "three beautiful granddaughters," Isabel, Monica, and Josephine.
A good man with a quick wit and a fondness for a good joke, Paul always sought to bring lightheartedness to those around him. He cherished reminiscing about "the good times" and put family above all else, teaching his children to look for the silver lining and to give generously. A devoted Catholic, Paul prayed a daily rosary for his family and friends. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus in Millersville, Pennsylvania, and attended Mass at St. Joseph Church in York, especially after moving closer to his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and forever loved. Knock, knock Who's there? Until we meet again
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Road, York, Pennsylvania, on June 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., followed by a private family reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pappus House in Thomasville, Pennsylvania. Contributions can be sent by emailing [email protected] or online at https://www.pappushouse.org/support-us/#donate.
