Paul F. O'Neil, 54, of Douglas, died suddenly on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at the UMass-Memorial Medical Center University Campus.
Paul graduated from Worcester Vocational High School as a mechanic and worked several years in this trade. He later went on to become a licensed electrician and formed his own company, Paul O'Neil Electric. Paul was known for his ability to fix anything mechanical or electrical. He was a skilled carpenter and knowledgeable in building, surveying and other trades.
Paul leaves behind his three children, Jennifer O'Neil, Sean O'Neil and Emily O'Neil, whom he loved with all his heart. He also leaves behind his siblings, Michael, Mary, Elizabeth, Kathryn, Robert, James and Colleen. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mary O'Neil and his sister, Kelly.
The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 10 a.m. in St. John's Church, 40 Temple St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to the Mercy Centre for Developmental Disabilities, 216 West Boylston St., West Boylston, MA 01583.
The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.
