Paul Proulx, 67, of Weare, NH died on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at his home in Weare, NH.
Mr. Proulx was born on October 24, 1956, in Manchester, NH the son of the late Bertrand and Rebecca (Pray) Proulx. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia Jo (Schehl) Proulx and son Michael; and two brothers, Denis Proulx and Peter Proulx.
He was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Proulx worked for over 30 years for General Electric where he held the position of Plant Facilities Leader.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, motorcycling, boating, military aircraft and jet engines, and was an avid reader.
Members of his family include; two sons, Thomas Proulx and his wife Mary-Beth, of Franklin, MA; Christopher Proulx, of Manchester, NH; a brother, Barry Proulx of Manchester, NH; loving grandchildren Madeleine, Theresa, Ethan, and Dominic; nieces and nephews; and countless cousins and friends.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester, NH. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 5 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home with a celebration of life to follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at a later date at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, in Boscawen, NH.
It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Proulx to the Wounded Warrior Project or the NH Motorcyclists Rights Organization Toy Run.
