Paul W. Serwe, age 73, of Green Bay passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center, Green Bay.
Paul was born October 2, 1951 in Denver, Colorado, son of the late Cyril and Betty (Herzog) Serwe. He married Linda Mohn on October 6, 1973 in Winona, Minnesota.
Paul was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. He was very strong in his faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, woodworking, spending time with his dogs, and puttering around in his garage. He was an avid Packers and Cubs "Cubbies" fan. Paul had fond memories of his early life on the Apache Reservation in Peridot, Arizona.
Survivors include: his wife Lynn Serwe, Green Bay; three children: David Serwe, Green Bay; Leah (Derek) Dixon, Iron Mountain, MI; Laura Serwe (Jason Delpire) Columbia, MO; four grandchildren: Kenzie, Elliana, Marley, and Aubrey; brothers and sisters: Anne (Tom) Smith, Peter (Jody) Serwe, Mary Witte, Mark (Debbie) Serwe, Linda Bucholz, Rachel (Mark) Koelpin, Jane (Paul) Hahn, Becky (Bill) Graumann; brother-in-law Mark Larson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by: his parents Cyril and Betty Serwe, his father-in-law and mother-in-law George and Becky Mohn; his sister Elizabeth Larson; brother Jim Serwe; two brothers-in-law: Steve Witte and Ron Bucholz; one sister-in-law Kathy Mohn.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 2160 Packerland Dr., Green Bay. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. A private burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Shawano will take place at a later time.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Aurora Baycare, especially ICU Unit 2, who cared for Paul during his stay.
