Bethany - Paul Simpson, 66, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at his home.
Paul was born December 17, 1956, in Derby, CT, the son of the late Norman and Karin (Johnson) Simpson Sr. He was a longtime resident of Bethany.
Paul is survived by his brother Jay W. Simpson and his wife Ruth Simpson of Beacon Falls; his nephews Jay Simpson Jr., Patrick Skehan (KatyRose), and Sean Skehan; his nieces Jillian Simpson (Gerald Cascagne), and Victoria DeCello (Anthony). In addition to his parents, Paul is predeceased by his brother Norman Jr.
Besides being a great brother, uncle and friend to many, Paul had many hobbies that included photography, artwork, gardening, car restoration and car shows. He will always be remembered for his good nature and willingness to help everyone.
Arrangements – A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Bethany Lakeview Lodge, 265 CT-42, Bethany, CT., with a luncheon to follow. Burial will be held at the convenience of his family. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society P.O.
