Paul Eugene Spaulding, 63, of North Vernon, passed away on July 21, 2025, at his residence.

Born March 5, 1962, in Marion, he was the son of the late Wayne Paul and Cora Spaulding. He married Jennifer Ladig in December 1992 in Greensburg; she survives.

Paul worked for Millwright and was a member of Millwright Association and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved creating things out of nothing; he was mechanically creative.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer; daughters, Jessica Spaulding of Madison and Teara Spaulding of Butlerville; brothers, Tom and Robert; sisters, Robin, Cindy, Diana, Brenda, and Bobbie; grandchildren, Minxey, Amora, and Kieran; and nephew, Ed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Wayne Paul Spaulding, and brother, Jim Spaulding.

A funeral service for Paul will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Service in North Vernon with the Rev. Sherman Beville officiating. The visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
