PAUL A. STANCATO, age 80, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023. Beloved husband of Kaye (nee Kern); loving father of Jennifer Stancato, Jeanette Stancato and Julie Parker (Scott); dearest grandfather of Sabrina Battaglia, Fiona Parker, Adi Parker and Bennett Parker; son of Pasquale and Angela (nee Commerata) Stancato (both deceased); brother of Patricia Kaczmarek (Peter), Peter (Frankie) (both deceased), Perry (deceased) (Lori) and Patrick Stancato (deceased); beloved uncle, cousin, and dear friend of many. Paul was a proud U.S. Army Veteran before going into the family business with his father Pasquale and brothers.
Paul's legacy runs deep as a founder of Stancato's Restaurant in Parma, and owner and operator of numerous other establishments over the years, which left an impact on Cleveland. After leaving Cleveland, he enjoyed his retirement in Florida spending time with Kaye and owning a local bar. Anyone who knew Paul, knew him to be an extremely kind and generous friend, family member, and employer.
The family will receive friends to celebrate the life of Paul at THE RIPEPI FUNERAL HOME, 5762 PEARL RD. (AT SNOW RD.), WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2023 from 3-7 p.m. with a Catholic prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Final resting place Holy Cross Cemetery.
