Paul W. Stauss passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021. He was born July 27th, 1929, in Woodsboro Texas to the late Fred Stauss and Hertha Zable.
Visitation will be held Sunday January 9th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapel North, 3410 Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, Texas 78230. The funeral service will take place on Monday January 10th at 1:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapel North with burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
Paul supported many causes throughout his lifetime and will be remembered for his charity. He was a decorated veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force and retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. During his service he visited many locales and traveled much of the world.
He loved the arts, especially culinary, literary, and Greek sculpture. Often, he could be found enjoying making family recipes handed down through the generations, including his favorite cookies, to share with his friends, family, and
neighbors.
