Mr. Paul Andrew Stephens, age 66 of Hartwell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 16, 2024 at Piedmont Athens Regional. 

He was born on December 13, 1957 in Homestead PA to the late Mr. Claude Stephens III and Mrs. Lois Stephens. He was an U.S. Army Veteran and worked as a heavy equipment operator for county government. He enjoyed fishing, exploring outdoors and Nascar. He was of the Christian faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents. 

Left to cherish his memory are son, Jonathan Paul Stephens of Hartwell; siblings Christy Stephens Barron, David Stephens, and Claude Stephens IV. 

A funeral service to honor Mr. Stephens will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at two o'clock PM at the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors with Reverend Ken Brewer officiating. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Army Honor Guard. He will be cremated after the service according to his wishes. 

Donations to offset funeral expense can be accepted at Coile and Hall Funeral Directors.
