Paul Swenson Obituary

Paul was born April 6, 1938, in Lindon, Utah to Wendell and Lillian Wright Swenson. He married Verlene Christiansen on April 19, 1956, in Lindon, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Paul was a hard worker throughout his life. He worked at Geneva Steel for many years and later for Alpine School District. He loved riding horses and enjoyed the outdoors. His most fond memories were of outings at Strawberry and Red Sand Ranch with family and friends.
He is survived by his two children: Kay (Liz) Swenson and Christi Swenson; four grandchildren: Annie, Paula, Sam, and Sadie; five great grandchildren: Lillie, Emma, Jessi, Charlie, and Kayd and his brother, Lynn Swenson. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Verlene; parents, sister, JoAnn Gaisford and brother, Boyd Swenson.
Family and friends may attend a viewing, Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 12:00-1:00 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. A Graveside Service will follow in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
