Paul E. Trimble, 62, passed away Thursday morning, June 26, 2025 at his residence, following an extended battle with cancer.
Paul was born August 3, 1962, in Muncie, the son of William and Mary (Ashcraft) Trimble. He graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1980.
Paul began working right out of high school for his parents in their business, Trimble Construction, as an Equipment Operator. In 1996, he joined the International Union of Operating Engineers Local #103, retiring in 2024 after almost 30 years. Paul enjoyed running heavy equipment even in his spare time and enjoyed boating and water skiing. Paul also loved music and attending concerts. He loved his family dearly, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Paul is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tammy (Tevis) Trimble; his children, Samantha Ritchie (Nolan), Brittney Stanaitis (Joseph), Thomas Trimble (Kristin), and Candace Salyer (Ben); five grandchildren, Vera Ritchie, Eden Ritchie, Nerys Ritchie, Silas Ritchie, and Eloise Trimble; two sisters, Sharon Conner and Kay Trimble (Nancy Wozniak); one brother, Lester Trimble; brother-in-law, Guy M. Tevis, Jr. (Rose Marie); mother-in-law, Betty Tevis; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Asher Ritchie; and two brothers, Dale Trimble and Carl Trimble.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Friends may call at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 10:00 am until service time at Noon.
