Paul N. Wilkinson, Jr., 75 of Wilmington passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
Paul was born in Wilmington, the son of the late Ella (Fraser) and Paul N. Wilkinson, Sr. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. Paul retired from the Painters Local 100 in 2015 after 43 years as a drywall taper and finisher. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crabbing and was a member of St. John the Beloved Church.
Paul will be missed by his wife of 36 years, Mary A. (Anthony) Wilkinson; his sons, John (Amy), Richard (Patty) and Michael; his grandchildren, Gwyneth, Timmy, Ashley, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Rebecca, Sara, Kayleigh and Tyler; his great-granddaughter, Sophia; his brothers, Gary (Debra) and Mark; his nieces, Caroline and Sierra; his nephew, James; his great-niece, Gillian; his great-nephew, Zane and his step-daughter, Elyse Ratsap (Tim).
Friends may call at the MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 2509 Limestone Road on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 10 to 11 AM. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org. On-line condolences may be sent to Mealeyfuneralhomes.com
