Graveside services celebrating the life of Paula Scharbor Brodnax, 76, of West Monroe, Louisiana, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Drew Cemetery in West Monroe, Louisiana with Rev. Rick Houck officiating.
Paula was born on August 28, 1948, in Norphlet, Arkansas and passed away on February 5, 2025, in West Monroe, Louisiana.
She loved her plants and you could always find her working in her flower beds. To her, digging in the dirt was therapy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Haskell and Irene Scharbor; brothers, Charles Scharbor and Herman Scharbor; sister-in-law, Carolyn Scharbor; granddaughter, Estella Marie Benson; and brother, Thurman Scharbor.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David Brodnax; daughter, Valerie Gaston and her husband, Doyle; son, Brad Brodnax and his wife, Kelli; granddaughters, Emily Benson and her husband, Michael, Sarah-Beth Bazo and her husband, Taylor; great granddaughters, Poppy Lea and Maison Marie Benson; and brothers, John Scharbor and Derald Scharbor and his wife, Sandy.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and hospitalists from the emergency department, third floor, and ICU departments at Glenwood Hospital. The care and compassion shown to our family was remarkable.
