Paula Caputo, 50, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of James Maslar.
Paula was born October 13, 1972, in Daytona Beach, FL, the daughter of Lorraine Caputo and the late Henry Frisbie. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident, graduating from Naugatuck High School, class of 1990.
Everyone who knew Paula would consider her an absolute joy. The center of her life was about family and spending time with those she loved most. She was always the life of the party, with an infectious laugh. As a wife, mother, Nona, and friend Paula was always doing for others. She had an unapologetic way of being herself, always. She will be incredibly missed and remembered fondly.
Besides her husband of 35 years and her mother, Paula is survived by her sons Danny Caputo and Jesse Maslar; her grandchildren Carson and Kinsley Caputo; her aunts Marion Larson and Angela Moorman; and her nieces Breanna Delgrosso and Angelina Gregory. In addition to her father, Paula is predeceased by her sister Angela Lamas.
Arrangements – Visitation for Paula will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 1 to 4 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 10:00 am at Grove Cemetery, Cross St., Naugatuck. Memorial contributions may be made to James Maslar. Find out if pre-planning is right for you. https://www.fordfh.com/planning-aheadKim DiBlanda

Words cannot express the heartbreak of losing my cousin. She was one of a kind, always told it like it was and never backed down when she truly believed in something or someone. I will miss our talks, our times together and our laughter. I pray that she is holding her sister Angela's hand tight and they are together again. You will be truly missed. I love you cousin Paula.
Love You Always
