Paula Rae (Tyler) DeAngelo, 73, of Lorimor, Iowa, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026.
Paula was born June 25, 1952, in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Doris (Reed) Tyler. Paula dedicated her working life to serving others as a home healthcare caregiver. She was deeply compassionate and known for the genuine care and kindness she showed to those she served. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond people, as Paula was a devoted animal advocate (mostly birds, cats and dogs) and passionate about animal rescue. She loved all her animals dearly, especially her dog Sadie, who was her constant and cherished companion.
Paula is survived by her sons, Craig Koller and Chris Koller; brothers, Jim (Dixie) Tyler of St. Marys, Gene (Jeanie) Tyler of Winterset, and Chuck Tyler of St. Marys; sisters, Beth (Carl) Nelson of Dallas Center and Lanae (JR) Ross of Winterset; grandchildren, Chelsey Koller, Kaden Koller, Kyle Haus, Aryan Koller, Breanna Tenoria, Mari Haus, Blair Lawson, and Giovanni Castillo-Haus; great-grandchildren, Kaylinn Gardner, Calli Gardner, Jeremy Gardner, Dani Gardner, Paislee Koller, and Starlee Koller; and great-great-grandchildren, Serenity Chiles and Colby Chiles.
