Paula Gonzalez

Paula G. Gonzalez, 89, of Katy, Texas, entered into eternal rest on September 13, 2025. She was born on June 26, 1936, in Luling, Texas, to the late Pedro Gonzales and Josefa Garza.

She was united in marriage to the late Andrew Gonzalez. Together they built a life filled with love and family.

Paula is survived by her daughters, Maria Muckensturm and husband Dennis of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Yolanda Griffith and husband Robert of Cedar Park, Texas and beloved step daughter Terry Flores of Victoria, Tx her sons, Albert Sanchez of Deer Park, Texas, Scott Sanchez of Katy, Texas, and Marcos Sanchez of Taylor, Texas. She is also survived by her sisters, Sabina Cordero of Mesquite, Texas, Petra Reyna of Refugio, Texas, Angie Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Dora Sloan of Corpus Christi, Tx. Paula leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild who will carry her memory forward.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Andrew Gonzalez; and her brothers, Nick Gonzales, Elias Gonzales, and Joe Gonzales.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 8:15 a.m., with a Funeral Mass beginning at 9:00 a.m at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Memory Garden Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Marcos Sanchez, Austin Sanchez, Caleb Navarro, Matthew Navarro, Joshua Navarro, Jacob Andrew Garza, Brandon Navarro, and Shane Maurer. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Griffith and Dennis Muckensturm Jr.

Paula will be remembered for her love of family, her faith, and her enduring strength.
