Paula Greer, 76 (Neé Nawrot). Paula Kay entered this world on July 13, 1948 in Dearborn, Michigan, born to Eugene and Helen Nawrot, and was called to her eternal resting place on Monday, November 18, 2024 in Trenton, Michigan. Paula Kay beloved wife of Ron and mother of Michele (Dan) Wilson, Michael (Myra) Cantrell and Nicole (Eric) Scheffler Paula Kay cherished Grandma of Michael Cantrell, Joshua Cantrell, Ethan Wilson, Brianah Aguirre, Alissa Wojcik, Kaley Cantrell, Nickolas Cantrell, Ashley Schffler and Chase Scheffler. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother and grandma Paula Kay was a loving sister of Eugene (Carol) Nawrot, Dennis Nawrot, Hank (Theresa) Wood, Kenneth (Sheila) Nawrot, Mark Nawrot, Maria Walkenbach and Annette Lawson. Paula Kay enjoyed spending time with her family, and she will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. This huge void can never be filled, and how she touched her family's life can never be replaced or duplicated. Paula Kay was preceded in death by both parents Eugene and Helen Nawrot (Neé Lachowicz), brother, Russell Nawrot, sister-in-law Cassie Nawrot, and two brother-in-laws Rick Walkenbach and John Lawson. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024 (3:00pm until 6:00pm) at Chas. Verheyden Funeral Home (Don Graham Chapel) 7100 Michigan Ave. Detroit, Michigan 48210. Mass will take place Friday, November 22, 2024 (9:30am Instate 10:00am Mass) St. Hedwig 3245 Junction Street Detroit, Michigan 48209. Burial will take place at St. Charles Cemetery in Newport, Michigan.
