Paula Hacker Obituary
Paula was born in Du Quoin on August 17, 1960, the daughter of Mary Alice (King) and Paul Cavitt, Jr. Earlier in life, she married Donald Ridgeway, and he preceded her in death. She later married Mark Anthony Hacker in Du Quoin on August 29, 1997, and he survives.
Mrs. Hacker was a baptized member for 37 years of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's witnesses. Paula was a home care worker for many people. She loved crafting, being outdoors, photography and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her loving husband- Mark Anthony Hacker of Du Quoin
Mother- Mary Alice (King) Cavitt of Elkville
Son- Paul Ridgeway (Sherri Roberts) of Du Quoin
Daughter- Brandy Sullivan (Anthony Conner) of Dowell
Daughter- Ashley Glidewell (Jaden Auvenshine) of Du Quoin
Daughter- Alisha (Samuel) Finney of Pinckneyville
Step-Son- Corey Hacker of Carbondale
Step-Daughter- Rachel Myers of Carbondale
Seven Grandchildren- Apollo, Parker, Trey, Mya, Natalee, Miles, and Erin
Brother- Allen Cavitt of Dowell
Brother- Bryan (Lisa) Cavitt of Du Quoin
Brother- Robert Cavitt of Du Quoin
Sister- Sue (Jeff) Fairbanks of Christopher
Father-in-law- Ted Hacker, Sr. of Hurst
She was preceded in death by her father- Paul Cavitt, Jr., her first husband- Donald Ridgeway, and her brother- Dennis Cavitt.
As per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. Final arrangements are pending at Maxton-Rosado Funeral Home in Du Quoin. Service details will be updated here as they become available.
For those who prefer, memorial donations be made to the House of Hope in St. Louis, Missouri or the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of Marion.

Paula was a good friend, she would do anything for anyone if she could. We have had a lots of laughs over the years. I will miss her. Thanks to Jehovah we have the hope for the resurrection.
