Paula Sue Jones, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, departed from this world on August 22, 2025, and left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known her. Born on October 17, 1964, in Geneva, Ohio, her spirit was as vibrant as the autumnal hues that colored her birth month.
Throughout her 60 years, Paula exuded love and kindness, traits that became synonymous with her very essence. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, a thread that intertwined the fabric of their lives. Survived by her adoring daughter, Breanna (Jacob Offutt) Jones; her precious grandchildren, Elijah and Lucas Offutt; along with her step-grandchildren, Breanna and Kaedon Offutt; Paula nurtured a family that will continue to blossom through generations.
Paula's siblings - three sisters, Rita Jones, Teressa Pierson, and Joanne Tucker; and two brothers, Gary (Donna) Hunt and Phillip Tubbs; remember her as the binding warmth of their kin. Alongside her cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins, they collectively mourn her loss and celebrate the light of her life. She now joins in rest her mother, Lillie Frances Cobb Crawford, and brother, Wayne Hunt.
As a talented painter and home remodeler, Paula's creativity and transformative touch extended beyond the bounds of family, gracing many homes with beauty and comfort. Her valuable contributions as a former employee at Kentucky Textiles and Hansley Mills were esteemed by all who worked alongside her. Paula's faith played a central role in her life, a testament to her commitment as a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Stamping Ground, Kentucky.
Her Christian faith guided Paula's journey, fostering a love for activities that reflected her nurturing soul. Gardening, crocheting, and quilting were not just pastimes but expressions of love-a comfort to her family and a legacy in every stitch and bloom.
Paula Sue Jones will be remembered as a loving and kind soul whose every interaction was touched with warmth and grace. Her spirit, a gentle whisper in the rustle of leaves and the softness of a quilt's embrace, will be profoundly missed by all who were blessed to feel her tenderness. As we bid her farewell, her memory remains a testament to a life lived with unwavering love and the quiet strength of kindness.
