Dodge City - Paula Konrade, 52, died September 23, 2025 at her home in Dodge City. She was born on October 22, 1972 in Dodge City, the daughter of Kathy (Edwards) and Ralph Peter Konrade, Jr.

Paula worked for USD 443 in the lunch room for some time. She enjoyed bowling and lottery scratch off tickets. She loved watching the game show and rodeo channels. She was an Elvis Presley fanatic, he was her icon. Purple was her favorite color and she loved her dogs, Molly and Purdy. She also enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs play.

She was a member of the Jayhawk Bowling League and Special Olympics.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy Konrade; siblings, Cindy Simmons (Travis), and Lonnie Konrade; nieces and nephews, Tazen Simmons, Alex Simmons (Ashley), Amanda Simmons (Hunter), Makena Konrade, and Reanna Konrade; and a great niece, Lilah Armstrong. She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Peter Konrade, Jr.; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Funeral service will be held at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 2:00PM with Jeff Hiers presiding. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Visitation will be at Swaim Funeral Chapel on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM with family present. Memorials are suggested to Special Olympics or Arrowhead West in care of the funeral home. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online guest book at www.swaimfuneralhome.com.
