In Loving Memory of Paula "Mummu"Lantz

September 27, 1937 - September 13, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, Paula "Mummu" Lantz, 87, of Groton MA, on 09/13/25 in Sun City Center, FL. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and devoted friend.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and grace. Mummu had a great sense of humor and was loved by so many that cared for her. She was a woman strong character and spirit, who raised her children with the values of empathy, respect, and a sense of humor that will be remembered by all who knew her. She approached everything with her 'Finnish "Sisu and passed that strength and resilience onto her family. Mummu was curious and a lover of animals and nature. She cherished time spent with her friends and family especially with her three children and her seven "famous" grandchildren.

Paula was a passionate golfer and dedicated athlete. In her youth, she performed with a Waterski Show team in Sutton, MA, where she proudly held the top position on the pyramid. While earning her teaching degree at Bridgewater State, she played right wing on the field hockey team. She is recognized for founding the Women's Physical Educational Program at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
