Paula Faye Pittman was born on February 26, 1957, to Geraldine and Bud Miller in Kansas City, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and her first husband, Mike Bradford.
Paula is survived by her husband, Larry Pittman of Raytown, Missouri; her children: Michelle Hoppe and spouse Ryan Hoppe of Raymore, Jenifer Goodale of Raytown, Larry Pittman Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona, and Kattie Pittman and spouse Mandy Wilcox-Pittman of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and her four grandchildren: Jillian Hurley and spouse Jackson Hurley, Bentley Hoppe, Harper Goodale, and Zoey Pittman.
Paula spent her life caring deeply for both people and animals. Whether she was raising her children, teaching preschool, caring for her father, or working at her local veterinary office, Paula approached every role with compassion and dedication.
Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She loved watching Jillian perform in dance and color guard, cheering Bentley on in MMA and football, sharing iPad time and reading with Harper, and getting updates from Zoey about life in Arizona.
Her love for her family was unconditional, and she was happiest when everyone was together—even if it was just for a shared meal.
Paula and Larry shared 41 wonderful years together and built a beautiful blended family that extended beyond their children. Everyone who knew Paula felt her warmth, her kindness, and—when needed—just the right amount of spice. Remembering Paula means remembering to be kind and love one another.
Memorial tributes may be directed to American Heart Association, or Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.
