Beth C. Riley, 86, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Wednesday October 8, 2025. She was born December 1, 1938, in Mankato, Kansas to the late Vernon and Wilma Garlock.
Beth made the world better each day as a beautician and hairdresser. She worked in various shops around Kansas City. She and her husband of 57 years, Lewis, created the shop in their home so she could continue to serve a select few clients in her semi-retirement.
She is survived by her daughter Lynn Mallett and her cherished grandsons Justin Bowlin, Clint Flippin and Jacob Flanders; granddaughters Megan Thomas and Emilee Simoncelli.
In addition to her parents Beth is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Riley, who died in 2012, her son Frank Riley and daughter Erin Batson.
Services will be Wednesday, October 15, 12 PM at Park Lawn funeral home 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Kansas City, MO 64138. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11 AM. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Green Lawn Cemetery.
