Constance Nelwyn Riley, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on October 8, 2025.

Born on November 11, 1944, in Linden, Texas, Constance was the cherished daughter of Frankie and Frances (Morgan) Berry. From a young age, she embodied compassion, strength, and a deep devotion to both her family and her faith—values that would define her life.

She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Larry Don Riley. Their 56-year marriage was a testament to unwavering commitment, true partnership, and enduring love. Together, they built a life full of purpose, family, and faith.

Constance dedicated 38 years of her professional life to Preuss Flecker & Associates, CPA, where she was known for her diligence, kindness, and impeccable character. Her work ethic was matched only by her love for serving others.

Since 1975, Constance had been a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as treasurer, church clerk, and fellowship hall director. Her involvement and leadership touched countless lives, and her gentle presence was a cornerstone of the church community.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frankie and Frances Berry; her beloved son, Larry Riley, Jr.; precious granddaughter, GwuDenna Davis; and sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Berry and Carolyn Berry.

Constance is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Don Riley; her children: Kevin Riley and wife, Penny, Scott Riley and wife, Trish, and Judy Skinner; her 10 grandchildren: Haleigh Harrison and husband, Ricky, Mikaela Alvarez and husband, Ramon, Loren Carter and husband, Ryan, Victoria Martinez, Josh Skinner, Aaron Skinner, Daniel Skinner, Jeremy Riley and wife, Lauren, Angela Pinkston, and Misti Solesbee; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She also leaves behind her five loving siblings: Jerry Berry, Joey Berry, Beth Nash and husband, Ricky, Jim Berry and wife, Chris, and Tim Berry; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Constance was a devoted Christian and held her faith above all else. She was the quiet strength behind many, the gentle hand that lifted others, and the warm heart that made everyone feel like family. Her legacy is one of love, service, and steadfast devotion.

In honoring Constance’s life, we remember not only what she did but who she was. A faithful servant, a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a treasured friend. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Carriage House Manor of Sulphur Springs.
