FITCHBURG - Paula Elizabeth (Babineau) Veilleux , 57, died Sunday, April 23, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on February 14, 1966 in Fitchburg the daughter of David Joseph Babineau and Anita (Testa) Babineau. She grew up in Fitchburg and graduated from St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg. She attended Anna Maria College.
Paula enjoyed singing, dancing, and trips to the casino. She was the anchor of her family, a devoted wife and mother. Her most cherished role in life was being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a great and loyal friend to many.
She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, Allain F. Veilleux; one daughter, Samantha A. Veilleux of Leominster; one son, Jacob A. Veilleux and his wife Courtney of Fitchburg; three adoring grandchildren, Trenton Dion, Levi Dion and William Veilleux; two sisters, Gail Bedard and her husband Buddy of Fitchburg, Carol Blanchard of Fitchburg; two brothers, David Babineau and his wife Karen of Fitchburg, Alan Babineau of Fitchburg; her best friend, Lorraine Harris and her husband Tank of Fitchburg and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4 - 6 pm in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg. A service will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Paula's memory to The Jimmy Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
