Paula K. Wayman, was born September 27, 1956, in Kansas and departed this life August 24, 2025, at her home in Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-eight years.

Paula's parents, Paul and Donna passed away tragically on July 16, 1960. Later, she and her sister, Susan were adopted by their maternal grandparents, Robert and Freda Wayman. They girls grew up on their grandparents farm.

Paula attended Mission Valley High School and graduated with the class of 1974. After graduating and turning eighteen, she married Blaine Stinchcomb on September 28, 1974. That marriage only lasted a few years.

She then went on to attend college, where she obtained her Nursing Degree. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years. She spent the first thirteen years of her career at Newman's Hospital in Emporia, Kansas. Upon leaving the hospital, she spent approximately ten years working in home health care, before finding a new passion for long term care. She retired from nursing, after forty years, at Windsor Estates in Camdenton, Missouri, in December of 2020.

In 1978, Paula's first child, Christina, was born. Through a friend and classmate in nursing school, Paula met and married Maurice Ziegler. They moved to Council Grove, Kansas, where they had two children together, Jason and Jennifer. Their marriage lasted twenty-three years.

Paula had her share of hardships in life, but she was a warrior. In fact in 2008, she became a breast cancer survivor.

In July of 2016, Paula married Michael Blodgett. The marriage didn't last long, ending in divorce. But, eventually, they rekindled and moved to Sunrise Beach, Missouri in 2017. After a tragedy in her home, she sustained a massive brain bleed from a fall. She spent six weeks in the hospital. Later, in October of 2022, she moved to Lebanon, Missouri with her daughter, Christina and life partner.

Paula enjoyed a variety of hobbies. She enjoyed going to the Farmer's Market. She also enjoyed watching her favorite television shows, which included, "Survivor," "Big Brother," "Judge Judy," and "Let's Make A Deal." She was an avid reader and had hundreds of books on her Kindle and Tablet. She loved playing Solitaire on her phone and especially enjoyed traveling with Christina, where precious memories were made.

Paula is survived by three children, Christina Dalme and her fiancée, Lawrence of Lebanon, MO, Jason Ziegler of Council Grove, KS, and Jennifer Ziegler of Baldwinsville, NY; one sister, Susan Chapen of McFarland, KS; six grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul J. and Donna Ferne (Wayman) Domme.

There are no services planned at this time for Paula. Her wishes were to be cremated.
