On Thursday July 31st, 2025, Willie Wayman Jr. was called home to his resting place. He was born in Atlanta, Ga at Grady Memorial Hospital by the late Willie Wayman Sr. and Helen Hudson on August 3, 1944. Willie was the second oldest of nine siblings. Preceded in death by five siblings. Archie, Mildred, Connie, and Donna. He leaves to cherish his memories with his 4 brothers, Albert, William J., Sherman, and James. He also leaves behind his former wife Lillian Blake, and his only child Kenna Wayman and a number of grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom he loved and adored. Even with an education level of the 6th grade he still managed to teach himself how to read and write. Raised in Atlanta, Ga at the time of strong racism and cultural disfunction, he still fought through a lot of adversity and became very strong minded and resilient. With hobbies including Fishing as top priority, Betting on Sports, Politics, Cards and dominos he always found a great place and time to grub as he would always say, "Don't put no price on yo Stomach"! From his Outstanding professionalism and talents, he became a very impressive and well-rounded Reshore Foreman for a couple different Companies. His most favorite company and dear to his Heart is Southern Pan, where he became a legend over years and years. Although his age made him stop working in construction, he loved all the memories he had. His most important memory was passing the torch to his son… Long Live Seven Days
