Pauline Shypulefski Albrecht

Pauline Albrecht, age 87, formerly of Raleigh NC, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 in the arms of angelic caregivers at the Silverbell Homestead in Fletcher, NC. Pauline was born on November 12, 1934, in Hanover Township, PA to the late Paul and Sophie Shypulefski. She was married for 57 beautiful years to the late Clayton C. Albrecht. Pauline so loved and cherished her family, friends and especially her three grandchildren. Pauline was the ultimate homemaker and orchestrated the most wonderful food-centered gatherings, welcoming all with open arms. She was passionate about her league bowling, an avid reader, enjoyed Durham Bulls baseball, delighted in traveling with her husband and vacationing at the beach. Pauline loved to cook, collect and test recipes and share her talents with family. She was the kindest and encouraging spirit, always with a twinkle in her eyes. Surviving are her children, Paul Albrecht, and wife Rebecca, Wendy Nelson and husband Mike, Terry Albrecht and wife Suzanne Molloy; three grandchildren Zoie Albrecht, Jack Albrecht and Clayton M. Albrecht; and her brother, Jerome Shypulefski and wife Carol; sister-in-law Helen Soska and husband Donald; nieces, nephews and cousins. A family memorial is being planned in Pennsylvania.
