Pauline L. Lee (nee Lambert) of Millington, New Jersey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the age of 86.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Pauline was the beloved daughter of Anita (née Blanchette) and Lucien Lambert. She made her home in New Providence, New Jersey, for 26 years before settling in Millington in 2000.

Pauline's life was marked by her devotion to her church, her family, and her community. She built a varied and fulfilling life and career, beginning at the Bell Telephone Company before taking time off to raise her family. She later resumed her career as court administrator for the Borough of New Providence and served as an editor at Martindale-Hubbell. Pauline also enjoyed her work at Mark's Lunch, where she cherished the friendships and camaraderie she shared with customers who remember her fondly to this day.

Above all, Pauline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jay Lee. She is survived by her daughters, Denise Maurer and her husband Paul of Berkeley Heights, NJ, and Danielle Johnson and her husband Paul of Millington, NJ; her sister, Deanne Hewitt and her husband John of Massachusetts; her grandson, Daniel Maurer and his wife Laura of California; and her adored great-grandchildren, Ava and Luke.

Pauline's passions were many. She loved the ocean and enjoyed many vacations with her family at Long Beach Island. She loved animals and supported numerous animal charities throughout her life. She also loved to travel, read, and do crossword puzzles. Pauline was happiest in the kitchen, sharing her love through her cooking, and she took great pride in creating a beautiful and welcoming home for her family. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, kindness, her beautiful smile, and her unwavering devotion to those she loved.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, September 26th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Avenue, Berkeley Heights, NJ. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 27th, at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace Church, 111 South Street, New Providence, NJ. A private interment will be held at St. Teresa's Cemetery on Monday, September 29, 2025.

Those who wish may make donations in Pauline's memory to St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center at www.sthuberts.org.
