Pauline Pearce, age 66, of Ashville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Born on May 14, 1959, Pauline lived a life filled with love, laughter and dedication to her family. She worked at IGA for 32 years, where she was known for her strong work ethic, kind heart and friendly spirit. She retired to enjoy more time with those she cherished most. Pauline loved her cats and dogs, fishing trips, playing with her grandbabies and the simple joys of life. Especially strawberries with salt and her favorite sweets.
She was the daughter of the late Betty Beane and Owen Beane and the beloved wife of the late Terry Pearce. Pauline is also preceded in death by her brother, Ray Bean.
Pauline is survived by her fiancé of 13 years, Tony Waugh and her children, Dawn (Bill) Thorne and Billie Jo (Jeremiah) Byrd and Christopher Pearce (Ronnie Williams).
Pauline’s legacy continues through her grandchildren, Alex, Tyler, Blake, Kayla, Mikey, Hannah, Zachariah, Jeremiah, Xzander and Christopher; as well as her great-grandchildren, Luna, Greyson, Sage, Elleanoa, Nova, Jaxson and Addie. All of them brought endless joy to her life.
Pauline is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Phillip (Debbie) Beane, Tom (Sherry) Beane, Hellen (Bobby) Lloyd, Thea (Marty) McClaskey, George (Arlissa) Beane, David (Kelley) Beane and Mellisa (Tony); sister-in-law, Joy; as well as lots of nieces and nephews.
She also leaves behind her dear friends who were like family, Geneva, Shelia, and Darlene.
Pauline will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the love she shared so freely. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who was blessed to know her.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 6 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service on Friday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, Ohio, 43103 with Pastor Michael Back officiating. Interment to follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Circle Area Humane Society, 185 Island Rd, Circleville, OH 43113.
