Jerry L. Yoder, age 72, of Mt. Sterling, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Kobacker House. Jerry was born on December 18, 1952, in Bellefontaine, OH to David and Joanne (Burden) Yoder. Jerry spent fifty beautiful years with his wife Bonnie L. (Moore) Yoder.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Bonnie (Moore) Yoder; his mother, Joanne Yoder; brothers, Mike (Diana) Yoder of Pickerington, OH, Steve (Gloria) Yoder of Lancaster, OH and Phil Yoder of Pataskala, OH; sisters-in-law, Sandy (Richard) Darby, Sharon (Roger) Neil, Maxine (John) Johnson; brother-in-law, Carl (Vickie) Moore; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry is preceded in death by his father, David A. Yoder, and brother Dale Yoder.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, with services to follow at Oliver-Cheek Funeral Home, 420 W. Main St., Ashville, OH, 43103, with Rev. Doug Campbell officiating. Interment will take place at Franklin Hills, Canal Winchester, OH immediately following the service.
