Pauline Frances Wills, 98, of Union City, OH, formerly of Ridgeville, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2025, peacefully and wrapped in comfort at the Union City Care Center. Pauline was born in West Milton, OH, on July 8, 1926, a daughter of the late Ronald and Goldie P. (Stonerock) Stutz. She was a graduate of Lewisburg High School and the loving wife of the late Robert E. "Bob" Wills, who she happily married on January 10, 1947, and sadly lost in 1997. Together they owned and operated Wills IGA in Ridgeville and Saratoga, IN, loved spending the winters in St. James City, FL, and going on fishing trips. Pauline also enjoyed gardening, bowling, singing in her church choir, reading her Bible, listening to Gospel Hymns, watching Western's, painting, making her wonderful signature dishes, pies and treats. Pauline is survived by 1 son; Gary Wills (Becky), 2 daughters; Sherry Chalfant, Tracy Johnson (Bill Thomas), 6 grandchildren; Charity Armstrong (Dan), Shane Chalfant (Suzanne Gibson), Stacey Chalfant (Alena), Mindy Smith (Donnie), Ryan Wills (Shannon), Brandy Green (Tracy), 10 great grandchildren; Quinlan (Jenna), Remi, Easton, Haelyn, Myla, Andrea, Isaac, Rylee, Trace, Trenton, 2 great great grandchildren; Elijah, Asher and 1 niece; Nicolette Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob Wills, 1 sister; Juanita Lane, brother-in-law; Rod Lane, and 2 sons in law; Danny Chalfant and Damon Johnson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 11 AM - 12 PM at MJS Mortuaries - Ridgeville Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM. Burial will be held in Lawndale Cemetery in Ridgeville, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cancer Services of Randolph County (cancerservicesofrandolphcounty.org). Arrangements have been entrusted to MJS Mortuaries.
