Paulo C. Silva, a deeply cherished husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on October 19, 2024, in Boston, MA, after a brief illness. Born on September 8, 1978, in Portugal, Paulo's vibrant spirit and compassionate soul touched the lives of all who knew him.
Paulo, son of Amadeu and Maria Cardoso, was raised in Portugal and his journey led him to Milford, MA, where he established his life. He is remembered by his wife, Manuela C. Silva, with whom he shared a profound and enduring love, and his two treasured children Leah and Caleb Silva; his brother Ricardo Silva, along with his wife Suzie Silva and his nephew and niece, Ruben and Sarah Silva; his sister Silvana Cardoso; along with numerous cousins and friends.
At a young age, Paulo obeyed his call to serve our Lord. His passion for his faith shone brightly through his role as Pastor of Milford Assembly of God and his impact overflowed into his community at large. His vision was to build a 'Kingdom Mindset' for our Lord amongst local churches. His last desire was for churches to collaborate and expand the reach of the gospel and the message of our Lord's love locally. He is fondly remembered for his listening heart and deep desire to grow in his faith. Paulo's pursuit of education led him to Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, where he worked towards a Master's Degree.
In addition to his pastoral work, Paulo dedicated over two decades to Workflow Concepts as Lead Application Developer. He was a master at his craft and a respected thought leader in designing complex software systems to support his customers. He was a true leader, collaborator, innovator, problem solver, and teacher. Paulo's passion and excitement for his work was unmatched. He was considered a one in a billion employee with admirable work ethic and integrity.
Paulo thrived on being active, adventurous and relational. His passions included running, soccer, and riding motorcycles. He was an avid photographer and a connoisseur of both coffee and wine and enjoyed making deep connections with his loved ones.
Paulo's profound faith was a cornerstone of his existence. His vision and legacy will continue through his loved ones and his impact will remain for generations to come. We rest in the promise that he was received by our Lord with "Well done, good and faithful servant!" Matthew 25:23
