Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch
Pearl H. Beaver, 84, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m., all at First Baptist Church Olive Branch. Interment will follow at Blocker Cemetery. Pastor Trevor Davis of Great Commission Church will officiate.
Pearl was born on February 13, 1941 in Liberty Hill, Tennessee, to the late Felix and Alta Hickman. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Olive Branch. Pearl worked as a teacher's assistant in the Desoto County schools for thirty years. She loved to read and to watch sports with the sound turned off. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Pearl will be missed by all who knew her.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Larry Beaver; son, Terry Scott Beaver; sister, Lela Mae Hickman; brothers, James and Charlie Hickman; and nephew, Aaron Fowler.
Pearl is survived by her daughter, Sandra Curtis (Tim) of Hernando, Mississippi; grandson, Thomas Curtis of Hernando; granddaughter, Melissa Petty (Brad) of Nunnelly, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Lesa Beaver of Olive Branch; niece, Tonya Drummond (Kyle) of Como, Mississippi; great-nephews and niece, Chandler, Cameron, and Sally; best friend, Hope Baker; and a host of additional nieces and nephews.
In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in Pearl Beaver's name to First Baptist Church of Olive Branch Building Fund (https://www.fbcob.org/give/).
