Pearl M. Burke

Pearl Maria Burke Hoy, 87, went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2025, at her residence in Manalapan, New Jersey. Born in Colón, Panamá, Pearl built a life marked by faith, strength, and extraordinary love for her family.
After immigrating to the United States in 1968, she made Brooklyn, New York her home, dedicating her life to the Lord and raising her family with grace and devotion. She later moved to Lehigh Acres, Florida, where she continued her ministry and remained active in her church and community. When her health began to decline, her daughter Debra and son-in-law Ben moved her and her husband to Old Bridge, New Jersey, so they could be cared for.
Pearl shared sixty-five years of marriage with her beloved husband Carlos. She will be remembered for her joyful spirit, her honesty and humor, and her ability to make every space brighter.
She leaves behind her husband Carlos, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a large extended family who loved her deeply. Her memory will remain a blessing.
