Obituary published on Legacy.com by Old Bridge Funeral Home on Nov. 7, 2025.
Timothy Paul Blair, 68, passed away suddenly at his home on November 1, 2025. Born in Queens, NY to the late Charles and Irene (Fell) Blair, Timmy lived in Manalapan prior to Old Bridge in 1988. Tim worked for Raceway Park in Old Bridge where he was the Security Director and Tuscany Old Bridge Italian Specialty Foods.
Timmy was a devoted and loving husband to his beloved Rozie for over 38 years. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering faithfulness touched all who knew him. A true romantic, he never stopped showing his affection - from the red roses he placed on Rozie's car seat when they first began dating, to holding her hand wherever they went, even decades later. Through more than 20 years of Rozie's battle with debilitating arthritis and cancer, Timmy was her steady lifeline - devoted, tender, and strong.
Timmy had a deep love for the holidays, especially Christmas. Each year, he transformed the house into a magical wonderland - lights glowing, decorations filling every room, and a warmth that made you feel like you had stepped into the North Pole. He created Christmas magic to delight his family, especially his children and later his grandchildren, carrying on traditions that made the season unforgettable. Whether dressing up, playing Santa, or keeping cherished traditions alive, Timmy ensured Christmas was filled with joy, laughter, and a sense of wonder.
His heart for others was just as boundless. For decades, Timmy joyfully supported Toys for Tots, collecting gifts and donations for children in need. He and Rozie shared a love of family, football, and seafood adventures, and together they built a life rich in laughter and love. Standing tall at 6'3", Timmy loved the game of softball and proudly pitched for the Manalapan team after moving to New Jersey.
Family was Timmy's greatest joy. From taking baby Samantha everywhere he went to delighting his grandchildren with cookies, toys, and trips to the racetrack, he found endless ways to express his love. He was especially proud of teaching his granddaughter Charlotte how to play chess - using the game to share lessons about patience, strategy, and navigating life. He also loved teaching his grandson Greyson about the game of softball, passing along not only his skills but also his love for teamwork and sportsmanship.
Whether through his acts of service, heartfelt words, thoughtful gifts, or warm hugs, Timmy spoke every language of love. With his easy humor and generous spirit, Timmy never met a stranger - only hearts he hadn't known yet.
As we say goodbye for now, we find comfort in knowing that Timmy is at peace and surrounded by light. His love remains with us - carried in our hearts, our memories, and the traditions he so beautifully built. Until we meet again, we will honor him by loving others the way he loved us.
He leaves behind his loving Rozie and his children; Keisha Griffith of Jacksonville, FL, Saddeth Leidinger of Old Bridge, Christopher Washington of Jacksonville, FL, Jennifer Blair of Yonkers, NY, Heather Blair-Morales of Harrison, NY and Samanatha Blair and her husband Justin Goodridge of Jamesburg. He will be deeply missed by his seven grandchildren; Isabella, Gabriella and Eric Collins Jr., Angelina and Antonio Morales, all of Harrison, NY, Charlotte and Greyson Goodridge of Jamesburg, NJ and by Timmy's sister Winifred Buglione of Queens, NY.
Family and friends are invited from 2pm until 4pm to Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Highway 516,
Old Bridge, NJ 08857 on Sunday, November 9, 2025, to say goodbye to Timmy. At his request, he will be cremated privately.
