Marc Andrew Hadzimichalis, a man of boundless passion and love, passed away at his home on October 25, 2025, in Old Bridge, NJ. Born on April 13, 1957, in New Brunswick, NJ, Marc's journey through life was marked by an unwavering dedication to his family, an infectious enthusiasm for his interests, and a knack for brightening the lives of those around him.
Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Marc grew up in Somerset with his brother Bruce, and sisters Andrea, Melanie, Melissa, and Melinda. His mother Katherine (Berkuta) and father Andrew were always at the heart of family gatherings.
After working in sales at Raritan Valley Office Supplies, Marc found his calling with Verizon Wireless, where he served as an Operations Technician for over two decades. His colleagues will remember him as a dedicated and skilled professional who brought both expertise and joy to the workplace.
At home, Marc was the cherished husband of Cynthia and the proud father of Tony and his wife Jennifer, Evan and his wife Melissa, Dana and her husband Scott, and Brittany and her husband Matthew. His eight grandchildren-Ty, Madison, Trey, Chase, Brycelynn, Jack, Bennett, and Harper-knew him as 'Papou,' a role he embraced with every fiber of his being. Each moment spent with them was a treasure, and his legacy of love and laughter will continue to shine in their hearts.
Football was more than a pastime for Marc; it was a lifelong passion. As a die-hard San Francisco 49ers fan, he could be found blogging about the latest game, sharing his insights and excitement with anyone willing to engage in conversation. His love for the sport was just one of the many ways he connected with friends and family.
Marc's creativity and handiness extended beyond the gridiron. Equipped with an extensive collection of tools, he became the go-to fixer for household issues, much to the delight and relief of his loved ones. His creative mind was not only practical but also artistic, as seen in his beautifully designed flower gardens, a testament to his eye for beauty.
Music was the rhythm of Marc's life, and he enjoyed an eclectic range of genres. Known for drumming his fingers to the beat, he never hesitated to turn up the volume, sharing his musical joy with all within earshot.
Marc Andrew Hadzimichalis lived a life rich in experiences, relationships, and love. His absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to know him, yet his spirit will continue to inspire those he left behind. A loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, Marc's memory will be cherished and celebrated for generations to come.
