Pearl V. Eckerd entered into eternal rest on April 30, 2022, following a battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Thomas C. Eckerd, her brother Charles Webster, her parents and two grandsons, Theodore (Teddy) and Bruce Jr. (BJ).

Born January 6th, 1936 to Charles D. Webster and Maybel S. Webster (Freysinger) in New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania.

Pearl and Thomas were high school sweethearts and married young. She was a stay-at-home mother and enjoyed taking care of her 5 children, plus many foster children and many others who needed a loving heart and home.

Pearl always hosted family meals on the holidays. She loved having all her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids together to enjoy home cooked meals and celebrating. Pearl also loved traveling. Some of her favorite trips were to Alaska, some taken with Tom and some with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the many sights and also getting to see her favorite bird, the American bald eagle.

She is survived by her brother Daniel Webster, 2 sons – Bruce, (Bonnie) and Thomas, (Sharon), 3 daughters - Candace Walsh, (David), Robin Stouch and Susan Hutchens, 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren who will all miss her very much.

A viewing will be held at Sullivan's Funeral Home in Enola, PA on Monday May 9th from 10-11am, followed by a service at 11am. She is being laid to rest in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA following the service.

The Sullivan Funeral Home is honored to serve the Eckerd family.
