Pearl K. (Staskiel) Martello, 102, of 933 Pine Street, passed away on August 22, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on November 14, 1922, in Atlas, to her parents, Stanley and Emma (Cozmerski) Staskiel.

On July 8, 1946, she married the late Victor Martello in Our Mother of Consolation Church, Mt. Carmel. They shared 68 years of marriage.

Pearl was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels and the Kulpmont Legion Auxiliary. She worked as a factory seamstress.

Pearl loved following her husband when he played in numerous bands in the area. She enjoyed helping him make pizzas for the Church picnics and the Legion. Pearl blessed and threw kisses to everyone she saw. She had a positive attitude and never had a bad word to say about anyone.

Pearl is survived by two daughters, Elaine (Dennis) Lutz and Ramona (Bob) Benscoter; two granddaughters, Carissa (Jeffrey) Eveler and Jana Benscoter; three great-grandchildren, Camryn, Micah, and Collin; a sister, Henrietta Visintainer; as well as nieces and nephews. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and many siblings.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Marion Heights. Viewing will be held in the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont. Arrangements are entrusted to C J Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, PA, Ashley P.
