Pedro Amezcua-Gonzales, 59, of McPherson, KS passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023.
Pedro was born in Mexico City, Mexico on October 20, 1963, a son of Benjamin and Rebeca (Gonzales) Amezcua.
Pedro attended grade school and graduated from high school in Mexico.
Through Pedro's lifetime he has worked many jobs, he currently has worked for Central States Marketing and Mfg for over 14 years.
Pedro enjoyed biking, fishing, swimming, hiking, loved the outdoors, camping and spending time with his friends and family.
Pedro Amezcua was united in marriage to Gloria Gonzales for 29 years. This union was blessed with the birth of two children, Eunice and Benjamin.
He is survived by Wife Gloria Amezcua, of McPherson, KS; his children, Eunice Sanchez, of McPherson, KS and Benjamin Amezcua, of McPherson, KS and his brother Arturo Amezcua, of Mexico.
He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Alexa Kali Sanchez and Esther Frida Sanchez; his nephews; Mario Cabrera, Ivonne Cabrera and his cousin Gabriel Amezcua; other relatives many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pedro was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, Pedro and Josefina Amezcua.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Chapel in McPherson, KS with Father Ben Shockey officiating.
The family requests donations to Pedro Amezcua Memorial Fund and they can be sent to Glidden-Ediger-Wiggins Funeral Home; 222 W. Euclid St., McPherson, KS 67460.
