Pedro H. Lara, 72, of Round Rock went to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 24, 2025.

Pete was born on July 10, 1952 in Pearsall, Texas to Conrado Luis and Juanita Lara. He was the eldest of five siblings. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1993 and earned a degree in Business Administration. He married the love of his life, Lee Padilla, on June 5, 1976. To this marriage came beautiful and brilliant daughters: Risé and Kei. Pete was an Army Veteran, then continued his career as a civil servant for the state of Texas. Along with his love for service Pete was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He also found a love for gardening and received awards for his gardening and lawn care talents. Pete was an avid baseball fan with a passion for his New York Yankees. Pete loved spending time with his family, including his grandson Jensen. Pete treasured his family, friends and the Lord.

Pete is preceded in death by his parents.

Pete is survived by his lovely wife of 49 years Dorothy Lee; children, Risé (Caesar) Candelaria, and Kei (Gabriel) Bermea; grandson, Jensen Bermea; four siblings, sister Susie Arellano, sister, Virginia Scaife, brother, Luis Lara, and brother, Rick Lara; And several nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be held Friday at 7:00 pm, May 2 2025 at St Elizabeth Hungary Catholic Church in Pflugerville, a funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday May 3, 2025 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church Building Fund.
