Pedro Miguel

Pedro Miguel, 92, of Fall River, husband of the late Maria (Faria) Miguel, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Mill Brook Nursing Home following a brief illness.

Born in Bretanha, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel DaCosta Senra and the late Berta da Conceicao (Carvalho) Senra.

Prior to his retirement, he worked in the local textile industry as a weaver for many years. He loved landscaping, tending to his grapevines, and making his own wine. Most notably, Pedro was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He leaves his children, Pedro Miguel, Maria F. Carvalho and her husband, Leonard, Elizabeth M. Costa and her husband, Paul, and Paulina Botelho and her husband, Allen, all of Fall River; his twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Jose Senra and his wife, Leonilde, of Fall River; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 9:00 AM from the Silva-Faria Funeral Home, 730 Bedford St., Fall River, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10:00 AM. His visitation will also take place on Tuesday morning, December 16, 2025 in the Silva-Faria Funeral Home from 8-9:30 AM. He will be laid to rest alongside his late wife in Notre Dame Cemetery.
