Pedro's life was a testament to his strength and determination. A very hard worker, he was a man who could fix anything that lay in his hands. His career as a mechanic was just one facet of his resourcefulness. Pedro's entrepreneurial spirit led him to own and operate numerous businesses, showcasing his versatility and dedication to providing for his family.
His interests were as vast and deep as his character. Pedro had a profound love for planting, nurturing life in the soil as he did within his family. His passion for baseball knew no bounds; it was not just a sport to him but a way of life. In his younger years, Pedro's athleticism shone brightly as he became a professional boxer in Mexico City, earning two championship belts through his tenacity and skill.
Pedro's Catholic faith was the cornerstone of his existence, guiding him with a solid and unwavering conviction. He was a selfless individual, always ready to give to others. He believed his purpose was to uplift and encourage others. His courage and strength were evident in every aspect of his life, from his personal endeavors to the love and support he provided for his family.

He is survived by his daughter Maria Chico Gonzalez and husband Rafael Gonzalez; sons Juan Jose Chico and wife Dora Chico, Pedro Chico and wife Alma Chico, Jesus Chico and wife Monica Chico; and his adored grandchildren Serena Marie Gonzalez, Taylor Elisa Gonzalez, Ralphie Antonio Gonzalez, Christian Gonzalez, Alexis Gonzalez, Diamond M Chico, Diamond Chico, Aileen Chico, Hilda Chico, Maria Chico, Juan Chico, Pedro Chico, Manuel Chico, Javier Chico, Dylan Chico, Matthew Chico, Joshua Chico, Able Chico, Jesse Chico, and Carlos Chico. He is preceded in death by his parents Apolinar Chico and Faustina Rodriguez Chico, brothers Nacho and Che, sisters Chapa and Lencha, and grandchildren Isaac Chico, Manuel Chico, and Edgar Chico.
Pedro Chico Rodriguez's life was a beacon of hope and inspiration to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched. His story is one of triumph, love, and the enduring strength of family.
Visitation for Pedro will begin 4pm-9pm, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Acres West Funeral Chapel. Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Acres West Funeral Chapel. At the conclusion of services, the family will share a meal together from 8pm-9pm, Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Acres West Funeral Chapel.
