Peggy Joyce Carlisle-Cook was born December 7, 1935 in Bear Creek, Alabama to the late Hartley Mann and Odell Franks. She passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at New Madrid Living Center at the age of 88 years and 1 month. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 56 years, Robert Carlisle, two brothers, Waymon and Jackie Mann, son-in-law, Mike Frazier, one great-grandchild and one great-great grandchild.
Peggy was blessed to find love again and was united in marriage to James Richard Cook September 26, 2017. He survives of the home. She leaves to cherish her memories: brothers, Roger Mann(Brenda Perkins) of Jasper, AL and Bruce(Debbie) Mann of Milton, FL; sisters-in-law, Betty Mann of Winfield, AL and Jo Mann of Jasper, AL; daughters, Renee(Randy) Brands of Portageville, MO and Pam Frazier of Dexter, MO; bonus daughters, Beverly(Sherdell) Cowvey of Marengo, IL and Corie(Scott) Jobst of Gilbert, IL; grandchildren: Jessica (Mike) Morris and April Brands-Muller both of Portageville, Rebecca Hickman of Clarksville, TN, Robbie(Mary) Frazier of Richmond, KY, Ben(Didi) Frazier of Bernie, MO and Holly(Wyatt) Bollinger of Sedgewichville, MO ; 19 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren and a host of many other relatives and friends.
