Peggy Jean Trull Efird, 76, of Stanfield, NC passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Peggy was born December 8, 1946, in South Carolina to the late Eugene Trull and the late Eva Barbee Trull.
She was also preceded in death by brother, Oscar Lewis.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Dr. Mike Dunn. Burial will follow at the Providence Church of God Cemetery at 12474 NC Hwy 24-27, Locust, NC.
Survivors include husband, Sherman Ross Efird of the home; children, Cindy Efird of Monroe, NC, Steve (Cynthia) Efird of York, SC, and Robin (Ray) Randall of Norwood, NC; grandchildren, Adam (Cady) Haigler of Polkton, NC, Chelsea (Josh) Wright of Indian Trail, NC, Kayla Randall of Greensboro, NC, Avery Efird of York, SC, and Jordan Randall of Norwood, NC; and great-grandchildren, Levi, Mattox, and Weston.
Peggy loved her family and had a special love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and the mountains with her husband and loved doing puzzles as a family on these trips. Peggy also enjoyed flowers, birds, and being in nature.
Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
